14 year old Saskatoon Boy dead in home invasion on 400 block Avenue R South

The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating an incident that took place shortly after 7:30 PM Monday evening in the 400 block of Ave. R South.

The situation began when several people entered a home without the permission of the resident. An altercation took place resulting in a young man, 14 years of age suffering serious life-threatening injuries.

The youth was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services where he was pronounced deceased.

Officers from Patrol, the Forensic Identification Section and the Major Crime Unit are continuing the investigation.
