Two youths have been arrested after a man was found dead on a Yorkton, Sask., street on Sept. 13.
The two youths have been charged with first-degree murder and robbery with violence.
Both are expected to make their first court appearance on Friday morning.
On Sept. 13, RCMP got a call about someone lying on Wellington Park Road in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
The man was found unresponsive and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim as Lawrence Skoretz, 67, from Yorkton.
The two youths charged in the death have not been identified because of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Two days after the initial call police deemed the death suspicious and further investigation revealed the two youth accused and the victim had an interaction and a physical altercation at a park in Yorkton during the early morning hours of Sept. 13.
