Bonny Maddaford, 45, from Yorkton, has been charged with three counts of breach of trust, and one count each of trafficking cocaine, marijuana and cannabis.

According to a news release, Yorkton RCMP began an investigation in November 2016 into suspected drug activity at the cellblock. Following the investigation, the Yorkton provincial general investigation section arrested and charged Maddaford. She was employed as a guard at the time of the investigation, according to RCMP.
She was released on conditions and appeared Monday in Yorkton provincial court. Her next appearance in scheduled for March 13.
