All but four rural schools of the 39 schools in the Prairie South School Division are now using or choosing to move to the four day week. Eighty per cent of families and community members voted for the change while twenty per cent voted against – with extra childcare raised as one of the main concerns. This past fall, Central Butte, Eyebrow and Bengough schools started the new schedule while Mossbank, Craik and Chaplin will follow September 2018.
