At approximately 2:15 a.m., November 21, 2020, Patrol officers observed a distinct Ford F150 truck travelling in the area of Idylwyld Drive and 29th Street West. This same vehicle had evaded Police the previous evening. A traffic stop was attempted however the driver again attempted to evade police and was observed driving in a dangerous manner. Stop sticks were successfully utilized at 25th Street and Idylwyld Drive and again at Howell Avenue and 33rd Street West. The vehicle was eventually stopped in the 100 block of Idylwyld Drive and the driver attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended with the assistance of a police canine and taken into custody. Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and MDMA. The vehicle was also confirmed to have been stolen.
