On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at approximately 9:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a robbery in progress at a business in the 200 block of Victoria Avenue.
Early information suggested a suspect male entered the business, demanded money and threatened the staff.
When police arrived, officers identified the male suspect and he was taken into police custody. Nobody was injured in the incident and police arrived before the male was able to take anything from the business.
As a result, 35 year-old Robyn Michael BELANGER, of Regina, has been charged with:
Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B).
BELANGER made his first court appearance on the charges this morning (Monday, December 14, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
