On October 21, 2021 a local Tire business located on 3rd Avenue West in Shaunavon reported an overnight theft of tools from a work truck parked in their parking lot. Witnesses report a suspicious older Caucasian adult male on the property around 10:30pm on Wednesday Oct 20th. The tools stolen were sockets, wrenches, screw-drivers, impact sockets and dye cutting tools. The tools have been marked with red or yellow paint.
Sometime during the week of November 3rd, persons unknown have broken into the Minor Ball storage sea-can located at the ball diamonds in Shaunavon. Nothing appears to have been stolen but the lock was destroyed. This is the second time in the last year that the storage sea-can has been broken into. Citizens are asked to take note of persons loitering in this area especially as the ball season is done. Police are asking for anyone with information regarding these crimes to contact the local Shaunavon RCMP detachment at 306 297-5550..
